Technological advances in high tenacity fibers and aerospace-grade adhesives have facilitated the creation of Insert Plates to protect against high-velocity rifle ammunition.

BALLISTICS:

When tested in accordance with US NIJ 0101.06 stand-alone, this insert plate satisfies level III Stand Alone performance and defeats multiple shots of the following ammunition as well as multiple lesser threat ammunition:

• 7.62 x 51 M80 Ball - LEAD CORE

• 7.62 x 39 M67 - LEAD CORE

• 7.62 x 39 M43 - MILD STEEL CORE

• 5.56 x 45 M193/SS92 - LEAD CORE

• 7.62 x 63 JSP - LEAD CORE

CONSTRUCTION:

This Insert Plate is manufactured with 100% Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene uni-directional fiber that is laminated together with thermoplastic adhesives under extreme pressure. This construction eliminates sprawling.

Nylon fabric is wrapped around the plate and bonded with contact adhesive to provide abrasion resistance and enhance aesthetics. The Edging of the plate is heat-sealed to protect the plate from natural elements. 

WARRANTY: The Insert Plate is guaranteed against faulty ballistic materials for 5 years.
