Slim Dusty, a legendary Australian country music singer, was famous for his signature Akubra hat. His hat, an iconic symbol of Australian country culture, was typically a classic style with a wide brim, providing ample shade for the sun-soaked Australian outback.

Inspired by Slim’s original 'Akubra Sundowner,' The Slim Dusty hat brings back the iconic, personalised style of a legend.

The hat was made of sturdy fur felt, often a natural colour matching his rugged persona. It had a simple leather hatband, sometimes with minimal detailing, maintaining a practical and traditional look.

Slim Dusty's Akubra embodied the spirit of the outback—durable, down-to-earth, and timeless, much like the man himself. His hat became as much a part of his image as his music, symbolising his deep connection to Australia's rural heritage.
